  • The Barracks' Dinner Under the Stars event featured four of the Barracks' best restaurants, Cabiria, Peasant, Libertine and The Chelsea Bistro. We were spoilt by the  eight course tasting menu with modern French, rustic Spanish and French-Vietnamese food.

  • Most days of the week, I am chained to my desk and drowning in work. Even when I'm not, our office doesn't have a lunch room, so lunch is usually a sad affair at my own desk. So it's a rare treat when I get to lunch with a girlfriend somewhere in town and thanks to an invitation to try Four Points by Sheraton Brisbane's Wrapped Cafe, I caught up with an ex-colleague who I adore and miss terribly for lunch.

This eclectic mix of Asian cultures appears to be the theme for Kwan Brothers – their menu of sharing plates feature the big gusty flavoured cuisine from Vietnam, Thailand and Hong Kong.
