  • While the SO was getting dressed, I scrolled through a couple of suggested breakfast cafes and was impressed by the feedback for My Kingdom for a Horse. Everything lovely everyone had to say about them  is well deserved!

  • Dining like that is not possible here and now, but I think I can definitely feel some of that love for The Tuckshop out on Gerler Road in Hendra. It's a perfect spot for casual breakfasts (or lunches) with friends, if you want to head away from the city.

  • The Jam Pantry has been on my to-visit list ever since owner Naomi Zavackas (formerly the creator of Comfort at My Table and more widely known as Nims) opened her new business on Logan Road in January this year. And we managed to do just that enroute on an Ikea run (we love our cheap furniture) and finally dropping into the Jam Pantry for breakfast.
