  • The team at work scheduled a night out to pig out at Little Lamb. They run dinner service - AUD$30 per person for all-you-can-eat steamboat and BBQ skewers. You pay at the door, select your hotpot, pointed to your allocated table before you're set free to choose whatever you want from the smorgasbord of food.

  • After our first visit to the Green Beacon Brewing Co., we braved the evening downpour after work to drop by again for a spot of dinner. Between the SO and I, we found our order of a half dozen Kooringal Moreton Bay Rock Oysters and the Session Plate to be easy to wolf down - although we did order a cup of nubs (the nubby end of a bread roll) to help finish off the wedge of cheddar.

  • When I heard about the Tacqeria Taco PopUp on Yelp, I was at once intrigued and excited. Stalking their Twitter @TacquitoPopUp and Facebook event page was the easy part. Figuring out where they were located was a little trickier. Several cryptic images on Twitter and then a location was mentioned on Facebook – Clyde Road in Kelvin Grove. We had lift off!

  • It was St Paddy's Day on Sunday and what did we do? Head to Comfort At My Table for breakfast. I've heard so much about it, but being on the opposite side of the city meant it's trickier to get to for us, but if you're on that neck of the woods, I say definitely give them a shot.

  • Every bite of Domino's new Chef's Best range of pizzas had us going 'mmmm, this is good!' and while they are not highbrow gourmet, they are definitely giving conventional pizzas a good run for their money and I'd give them two thumbs up for taste.

  • Nonetheless I do like the occasional bubble tea. Just without the bubbles. I've found too many stores unable to provide consistently good bubbles (not too hard, not too soft and definitely not too sweet), so I have stuck to just the teas. And at the moment, my favorite has to be the Oolong milk tea from reP.I.T. Tea & Juice Bar in Elizabeth Arcade in the Brisbane CBD.
