What are you up to this weekend?

While our little family is buried under the load of renovations, packing and moving into our new home over this week (and the next), I’d be lying if I said I am not looking forward to getting a bit of a break at some of this weekend’s events.

What are you up to this weekend?

Recreate Twilight Market & Paper Fashion Show

It is National Recycling Week! Brisbane City Council and BrisStyle is celebrating with the Recreate Twilight Market and Paper Fashion Show. This free event will feature a runway fashion show with a selection of Brisbane’s most inspiring designers’ garment creations from paper and cardboard. There will also be market stalls, food trucks, paper craft activities, entertainment and a recycling education space.
Brisbane Finders Keepers 2016 Spring Summer

Brisbane SS16 Finders Keepers Market

Christmas is just around the corner (less than 8 weeks! Eek!), so head to the Finders Keepers Market Spring Summer 2016 market at the Old Museum on Gregory Terrace to pick up some beautiful gifts, and some pretty wrapping paper from Bespoke Letterpress to wrap them all up in.

Perhaps some envy-worthy jewellery from House of Bec, Meeshka or Polli for that bestie who’s been there for you all year?

Or cute threads for a cutie patootie from Joshua and Caleb, the Smallest Tribe, Archie Met Betty or Bandikoot?

Better yet, spruce your home with pieces from Byron Bay Chairs, Homelea Lass, Printink Studio or Seven Seas Home.

And don’t even get me started on the food and entertainment!

Suitcase Rummage in Brisbane Square

Suitcase Rummage, the mini scaled market is back at Brisbane Square this weekend!

You can either be a part of the Rummage experience by selling wares out of a suitcase, or shop for some bargain gems! There will be brilliant vintage, artwork, bric-a-brac, clothing, books, jewellery, seconds, hand-made, shoes, records, music, badges, cards, and handmade paper.
