Wrapped, Four Points by Sheraton

Most days of the week, I am chained to my desk and drowning in work. Even when I’m not, our office doesn’t have a lunch room, so lunch is usually a sad affair at my own desk. So it’s a rare treat when I get to lunch with a girlfriend somewhere in town and thanks to an invitation to try Four Points by Sheraton Brisbane‘s Wrapped Cafe, I caught up with an ex-colleague who I adore and miss terribly for lunch.

Unlike its sibling restaurant The Eatery, Wrapped is right out front of the hotel and spills out onto the pavement of Mary Street. I’ve walked past it almost every day and there’s always a couple of business-types having a pow-wow over coffee there. That said, Wrapped has very limited seating, so I wouldn’t be bringing a staff of 20 there for lunch. Two to four people on the other hand, is fair game.

For lunch, I kinda like that they have three options of wich: the Panini, the sandwich and the baguette. These are made fresh and came with a bit of salad on the side. And they also have snacks, as well as soup to warm your cockles this winter.
