DIY nailart: Aboriginal art inspired for Australia Day

DIY nailart: Aboriginal art inspireda

In all the flurry of everyday life, I just realised I totally forgot to talk about this particular nailart I did for Australia Day. Last year, it was the Australian flag, which the SO called ‘bogan’. This year, I thought it would be interesting to take inspiration from the intricate dot patterns from Aboriginal art as a nod to the original people of this amazing diverse continent. They use such a variety of media to convey history, legends, worship, and convey meaning between tribes and generations through their art. What other nobler reason for art can there be?
