Season at Noosa Heads

Starting a day at the beach with a hearty breakfast is the perfect way to get ready for the sand, surf and sun. Season Restaurant is one of a few choice establishments facing Noosa beach and we were keen to start the morning right.

Walking past the tables of young families, I lusted after the piles of fluffy pancakes in front of messy little kiddie hands. It’s no wonder family groups opt to dine there. Season Restaurant at Noosa Heads offers some tranquillity from the bustle and activity of the beach, with plenty of welcome shade and quick service.

Everyone else around the table opted for the usual big breakfasts and toast with poached eggs, but I wanted something different. Something that would excite me, so the corn fritters caught my eye. Served with avocado salsa, grilled chorizo and roast capsicum, I was most definitely not left wanting and had to spend a good 30 minutes sprawled on my beach towel and sandy beach to combat the food coma.
