Adriano Zumbo’s Zumbarons

Did you think I would visit Adriano Zumbo’s Patissier without picking up Zumbarons?

Passionfruit and tonka bean, salted butter caramel, blackened vanilla, pandan and coconut… these babies have a crisp shell, easy to bite through and moist chewy centres that are delicate and sweet. Certainly denser than the Ladurée macarons I had in Paris, but still beautiful to bite into and savour.

My favorite flavour from the lot has to be the passionfruit and tonka bean.
