The Chouchou/scrunchie project

As my hair gets longer, I am constantly searching for something to tie my hair back with, especially now that the warmer summer days are here.

And while there is nothing wrong with the multitude of black elastic hairties I have, a little more colour would be much more interesting. A girl can never have too many accessories, right?

Besides, I might as well put some of the fabric scraps to good use.

20 minutes in front of the sewing machine with some elastic, fabric, and tadah! A blast back to the 80′s and a couple of chouchous/scrunchies.
